Account Manager

Role: Account Manager

Location: London, U.K.
Qualifications: A degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant fields.
Remuneration: £55k – £60k

Role Summary:

We are looking for a Technical Account Manager (TAM) to create and maintain long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The TAM’s role is to oversee a portfolio of assigned customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities.

The Acrotrend TAM will be responsible for managing all technical/ functional aspects of service delivery, interacting daily with one or multiple Acrotrend clients. The TAM will monitor client services while proactively working with clients to manage resource consumption and capacity. They will act as the single point of contact for incident management and will provide centralized coordination of all remediation efforts.
The TAM will also assist with client change management processes such as providing specific, short-term steps and schedules for projects, future volume projections, technology changes that could impact our customer’s systems and technical architectures.

The TAM will be responsible for assisting business development in both a pre and post sales capacity and identify areas where Acrotrend may be able to offer improved service and/or reduce client’s operational costs throughout the engagement lifecycle.

Operational management tasks to include SLA management /compliance /reporting, contract management.

• Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships
• Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximise profits
• Develop trusted advisor relationships with key accounts, customer stakeholders and executive sponsors
• Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
• Clearly, communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
• Develop new business with existing clients and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
• Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
• Prepare reports on account status
• Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities within territory
• Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed


• Previous account and/or program management experience 
• Commercial experience – opportunity development, Pre-sales support, account management strategy and plan development, contract negotiation, Onboarding and Delivery.
• Ability to interface with clients at the Director and CxO level, previous experience preferred
• Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce, Zoho CRM or HubSpot) and MS Office (particularly MS Excel)
• Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities

• Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
• Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
