Acrotrend’s head of consulting, Tom Coppock was interviewed by Clarasys’ Matt Austin for their Never Mind the Pain Points podcast series. Their discussion is centred around how both customer expectations and technology have evolved over time, and to meet new customer demands, how data analytics is a business differentiator. They also contemplate changes over time – from the days when organisations needed big money for investment into giant data technology infrastructure, to today’s much more agile and advanced platforms, that have the additional bonus of leaving some change in the pocket.

Tom and Matt also discuss whether the large enterprise organisations are starting from ‘further back’ due to having to deal with the legacy infrastructure they tend to have.

In their conversation, Matt and Tom cover much more including monetising data, fundamental data issues in organisations and why Marketing often leads the way when it comes to using data and analytics to do the right thing for the customer.
